1. Who we are

First Instinct (“First Instinct”) is operated by First Instinct Ltd (company number 17398711, registered in England & Wales). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and First Instinct Ltd governing your access to and use of our services, including the action evaluation service, the API, and developer tooling.

2. What the service does

First Instinct evaluates external actions under receiver-owned policy and preserves a source-attributed evaluation record. First Instinct does not issue identities, operate a naming registry, hold customer credentials, define customer policy, move money, execute the target action, or sign the target outcome.

3. Access and credentials

You are responsible for safeguarding any credentials issued to you for access to the service, and for all activity conducted under them.

4. Acceptable use

• No impersonation, fraud, or unlawful activity.
• No attempts to disrupt, overload, or reverse the resolver.
• No infringement of third-party intellectual property.

5. Registration and renewals

Any terms and renewal periods that apply to a registered handle are presented at the point of registration. A grace period applies after expiry before a handle returns to the public pool.

6. Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is” during the pre-general-availability period. We may change features and timelines as the evaluation model matures across its planned tiers.
